The Safe Tourism Certificate program, carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will be changed to the Green Tourism Certificate in 2023. This structure, introduced by the safe tourism certification program, will be permanently implemented from 2023 onward as the Safe and Green Tourism Certification Program, also taking into account the sustainability conditions of the Turkish tourism model. Nilüfer Durukal, Managing Partner of Talya Bilişim, stated that the G20 countries have agreed on seven main topics regarding tourism, saying, "One of them is sustainability, and another is digitalization. There are significant responsibilities for hotel software in both of these areas." Explaining that they have launched a digitalization initiative across every sector of tourism with their end-to-end solutions, Durukal expressed that the Elektraweb program, developed with the latest web technologies, will lead green tourism. Durukal said, "Elektraweb enables managing a hotel digitally across all departments—from front desk to accounting, from room and floor services to the restaurant, from connections with international sales channels like Booking and Expedia to staff and SPA management."
