Talya Bilişim, one of the leading IT companies in the tourism sector producing strong solutions for the industry, shared its growth figures for 2022. The company, which launched an aggressive push in the last year, achieved 30% growth in foreign currency terms. Elektraweb Hotel Program, developed entirely by Turkish engineers for the tourism sector, is used on 4 continents — Europe, Asia, America, and Africa — and in 23 countries including leading tourism nations such as the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Thailand. Talya Bilişim, which has reached more than 5,000 hotels with over 2,000 web users and 3,000 desktop users of Elektraweb, aims to reach 6,500 hotels by the end of 2023. The company plans to continue its international expansion by increasing usage in the countries it already operates in and aims for 40% growth in foreign currency terms.

Taking strong steps towards globalization, Talya Bilişim has signed new partnerships consecutively. In this context, it collaborated with Giata, which provides visual promotional information about hotels and offers translations in 25 languages, integrating Giata Hotel Drive into the Elektraweb program. Thanks to this cooperation, all static promotional data of hotels using Elektraweb will be shared with all sales channels and partner search engines through Giata Hotel Drive. Thus, hotels will enter their promotional data only once and will no longer need to update information separately on each channel. Talya Bilişim also increased the number of connected online sales channels by partnering with Travel Line.

As part of its global growth initiative, Talya Bilişim entered the US market in September last year and launched the EASY PMS brand there. Positioning EASY PMS as a global brand, Talya Bilişim prepared a special growth plan to operate strongly and steadily in the US market. The company’s 2023 goal is to reach 50 hotels in the US.

Nilüfer Durukal, Managing Partner of Talya Bilişim, emphasized the digitalization surge triggered by the pandemic worldwide, saying, “Digitalization has become indispensable today. This is now recognized not only in all sectors but also in tourism.” She added that this momentum has gained strong acceleration in the past year, noting: “The programs we developed entirely with Turkish engineers for the tourism sector have reached significant use not only in our country but also globally. The Elektraweb program developed by Talya Bilişim is currently used on 4 continents and in 23 countries. We reached more than 5,000 Elektraweb users in hotels — 2,000 on the web and 3,000 on desktop. This year, we achieved 30% growth in foreign currency terms.”

Durukal also announced that Talya Bilişim has signed two new partnerships in line with its globalization efforts: “Recently, we partnered with Giata, which provides translations in 25 languages. We integrated the Giata Hotel Drive into the Elektraweb program. We also signed a partnership with Travel Line recently.” She noted that the company’s biggest globalization push is in the US market and they have entered the market with the EASY PMS brand.

“We aim to continuously develop new partnerships while expanding our presence in many markets. In this context, we plan to reach 6,500 hotels in 50 countries in 2023. We are targeting 40% growth in foreign currency terms,” she said.

The Elektraweb software developed by Talya Bilişim supports hotels by integrating an online reservation engine, channel management, Google, and virtual POS integration into the front office. It allows hotels to take commission-free and intermediary-free bookings directly from their own websites. Thanks to the online reservation page integrated with the front office, hotels can sell their rooms based on contract prices or daily pricing without needing any intermediary company. This system also enables hotels to create their own CRM data and easily design any marketing strategies for their brand. Elektraweb users can also publish their prices on Google free of charge and receive bookings through Google.
