TALYA SOFTWARE IS PREPARING FOR EXPORT; Talya Informatics, the software developer of institutions such as Tsk, Central Bank and TUI, is preparing for export. Among its users are TUI Group, Otium Group, NOA Group, Hillside Hotels and Aqua Fantasy, which has the largest bed capacity in Turkey. In 2005, Durukal stated that they made rapid progress in the health sector they entered and that the hospital management system they produced under the Medisoft brand was preferred by 230 health enterprises in 5 years. Stating that their software for the tourism and health sectors is very comprehensive, Durukal said, "A hotel or hospital, which is one of our users, meets all its software needs only with our products and experiences the comfort of working with a single company.In the software business, the competence of the support services behind the product has a very important role as well as the functionality of the product." '2010 was a year of preparation for exports'; Durukal stated that they started to develop their software in a way to appeal to the world market with the aim of expanding abroad in 2008, and explained that they made improvements in the technological infrastructure of their software and developed a tool that could adapt the software according to the different needs of each country and business, and that this project was supported by TÜBİTAK in 2009. Stating that 2010 was a year in which they realized their preparations for export, Durukal said; "We opened our office in Germany in February. We participated in the tourism fairs organized in Utrecht, Berlin and Moscow and in the CEBIT IT Fair held in Hannover in March. In the following days, we participated with the Turkish Delegation in the Business Negotiations Forum held in Bosnia with the invitation of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Development Bank.In the meantime, we continue to work on a project carried out by the Iraqi Government. We are in negotiations for the distributorship of our products in Syria, Jordan and Egypt. Eastern Europe, North Africa and Arab countries are our primary targets for exports." He underlined that working with local distributors in each country is essential, especially in terms of fast and uninterrupted support services.
