Let's Call You

Ekin Mavi, Public Relations Officer of Talya Bilişim, stating that 2015 was an investment year for Talya Bilişim, said:
“We developed our call center both in terms of hardware and space. Besides minimizing call losses, we established the infrastructure for a system that records and supervises the 24/7 support we provide. In 2015, we continued R&D and integration work aimed at needs in our latest version ElektraV4. For seamless transition of facilities to systems such as e-invoice, e-ledger, e-archive, and e-signature, eFinans and Turktrust became our solution partners. Additionally, thanks to the integration of Elektra with Hotel2Sejour, travel agencies can make hotel reservations smoothly, and via integration of our POS module with Vera cash registers, facilities can perform their collection processes without errors.”

“We have started to reap the fruits of our planned growth strategy”
Recalling that Elektra is one of the most widespread brands in the Turkish hotel management systems market with 3 regional directorates and 38 dealers, Ekin Mavi said:
“2015 was the year we started implementing a systematic program to expand and activate our dealer network. We have already begun to see the results of our planned growth strategy. We are rapidly climbing in the ranking of Turkey-based software producers and moving towards becoming a global brand by exporting our software products. In 2015, we focused more on brand and service quality improvements rather than financial growth. Nevertheless, we expect to close the year with a real growth rate of around 20%.”

“176 facilities preferred Elektra in 2015”
Mavi stated that they continued to serve many facilities with Elektra, the most comprehensive hotel management system with 28 modules, across various concepts. He mentioned that they implemented the call center, technical service, and CRM management system of one of Turkey’s most important accommodation facilities, Hillside Beach Club, with the OPEX brand. He also said they continued to install front desk identity reading systems for Hilton Hotels under the “Kimlikokur” brand, adding:
“With the additions this year, 8 hotels from the Ramada Group, 2 hotels from the Tuana Group in Thailand, and 2 hotels from Türk Telekom started using Elektra. Additionally, 176 facilities chose Elektra in 2015, including Azura Deluxe Resort & SPA, Sirius Deluxe Hotel, Bursa Marion Hotel, Istanbul Nearport Hotel, Stella Beach Hotel, Onkel Resort Hotel, Aska Eight Days Hotel, Falcon Hotel, Kaya Magnesia Hotel, Istanbul Berjer Boutique Hotel, and Narven Thermal Town timeshare facilities.”

Talya does not expect an increase beyond the investments started for 2016, which will highlight the Travelaps Travel Agency Portal Solution, but Mavi said there may be some unwanted declines. “Accordingly, we will evaluate international markets more effectively. Especially our sister company ERS A.Ş.’s new product, the Travelaps Travel Agency Portal Solution, has taken its place among our products as a comprehensive and functional solution for the digitalization process of travel agencies. Also, the e-transformation process will accelerate further with the mandatory implementation of e-archive from January 1, 2016. We will continue to work with our strategic partner e-Finans in the e-archive application, as we did with e-invoice and e-ledger. In 2016, one of the products we will promote in domestic and foreign markets will be our Travelaps Travel Agency Portal Solution.”

Emphasizing that personalized services are directing all hotels towards offering boutique services, Mavi said they continue to develop the CRM section of the Elektra Hotel Management System accordingly. Ekin Mavi added that they have completed optimizations for mobile applications of modules such as online hotel, restaurant, and spa reservations, and complaint reporting, which can especially be used by hotel guests.
