Emphasizing the importance of all software and hardware in a business working in a fully integrated manner, Durukal says, “This way, since all data is collected in one place, analysis becomes much easier, and the data produced becomes much more detailed. To make it more concrete, I can give an example from hotel applications. The integration of the front office program used to track reservations and stays, the channel manager handling reservation flows with agencies, and the reservation information coming from the hotel’s own website allows the hotel to manage its room inventory in the most efficient way and to sell rooms at optimal prices.”
