Talya Bilişim, a technology company producing solutions for hotels and hospitals with its knowledge and experience, operates with its headquarters in Antalya and branches in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Mardin, and Germany, serving worldwide through a network of 47 dealers. Among the company’s users are Turkey’s largest hotel chains such as TUI, NOA, Yazıcı; prestigious city hotels like Hillside, Klassis, Ramada Antalya, Via (Istanbul); public institutions including TEDAŞ, TÜPRAŞ, TSK, SGK; and many A-group hospitals.

Talya Bilişim General Coordinator Nilüfer Durukal states that the most distinctive feature of their software is its scope to monitor operations in all departments of the business while keeping user initiative at a minimum. She explains that Elektra Hotel Automation is a management system composed of 20 different modules. For Büyük Ascot Hotel, they installed five of these modules: Front Office, Inventory – Cost Analysis, Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Human Resources programs. Durukal adds, “Since Ascot Hotel primarily makes sales via telephone and internet, a special screen design was created to facilitate easier monitoring of the system, allowing the hotel’s status and all specified data within the given date range to be seen. With the fixed assets system installed at the hotel, all fixed assets’ movements within the facility are tracked, and wear and tear or breakdowns are easily monitored. Since the fixed assets module works integrated with the accounting system, all transactions are simultaneously visible in the accounting system without the need for additional data transfer.”

Within the scope of international efforts started in 2010, Durukal mentions that they added a language translation tool for use in Elektra Hotel Automation. She says, “At Ascot Hotel, the program is used in both English and Turkish. Moreover, the language choice can be adjusted individually: Turkish staff can work in Turkish, while foreign staff can work in English.”
