Talya Bilişim Achieved 30% Growth in Foreign Currency Terms in 2022 and Sets Bigger Goals

Talya Bilişim, which reached more than 5,000 hotels with its Elektraweb Hotel Program used across 4 continents and 23 countries, including 2,000 web-based and 3,000 desktop users, shared its growth targets. Nilüfer Durukal, Managing Partner of Talya Bilişim, said, “We are launching new partnerships as part of our globalization efforts. We have entered the US market with the EASY PMS brand and plan significant growth there. We aim for 40% growth in foreign currency terms in 2023.”

One of the leading IT companies in the tourism sector producing strong sector-specific solutions, Talya Bilişim shared its 2022 growth data. The company, which made a strong push in the last year, achieved 30% growth in foreign currency terms. Elektraweb, developed entirely by Turkish engineers for the tourism industry, is used in 23 countries across 4 continents—Europe, Asia, America, and Africa—including leading tourism countries like the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Thailand. Talya Bilişim, reaching over 5,000 hotels (2,000 web users and 3,000 desktop users), aims to reach 6,500 hotels by the end of 2023. They plan to continue expanding their international presence and aim for 40% growth in foreign currency terms.

Two New Partnerships

The company, taking strong steps toward globalization, is continuously signing new partnerships. In this context, Talya Bilişim partnered with Giata, which provides hotel visual promotional content translated into 25 languages, and integrated Giata Hotel Drive into the Elektraweb program. Through this partnership, all static promotional information of hotels using Elektraweb will be shared by Giata Hotel Drive across all sales channels and affiliated search engines. This means hotels will enter all their promotional data from a single point and will no longer have to update information separately on each channel. Another partnership was made with Travel Line, with whom Talya Bilişim continues to increase the number of connected online sales channels daily.

“We are in the US with EASY PMS”

As part of its global growth initiative, Talya Bilişim entered the US market last September and launched the EASY PMS brand there. Positioning EASY PMS as a global brand, Talya Bilişim has prepared a special growth plan to advance strongly and steadily in the US market. The company’s 2023 target is to reach 50 hotels in this market.

Nilüfer Durukal highlighted the worldwide digitalization surge that began with the pandemic, saying, “Digitalization has now become indispensable. This has been recognized in tourism as in all sectors.” She added that this momentum has gained strong acceleration over the last year. “The programs we developed entirely with Turkish engineers for the tourism sector have reached significant global usage beyond Turkey. The Elektraweb program developed by Talya Bilişim is currently used in 23 countries across 4 continents. We have reached more than 5,000 hotels, with 2,000 web users and 3,000 desktop users. This year, we achieved 30% growth in foreign currency terms,” she said.

Targeting 6,500 Hotels in 2023

Durukal explained that Talya Bilişim has signed strong new partnerships as part of its globalization efforts, announcing two recent collaborations. “We recently partnered with Giata, which provides translations in 25 languages, and integrated their Giata Hotel Drive into Elektraweb. We also recently signed a partnership with Travel Line,” she said. She added that their largest globalization push will be in the US market, entering with the EASY PMS brand. “While continuously pursuing new partnerships to globalize, we aim to increase our presence in many markets. We plan to reach 6,500 hotels in 50 countries by 2023, aiming for 40% growth in foreign currency terms,” she stated.

Rescuing Hotels

Elektarweb software, developed by Talya Bilişim, comes to the rescue of hotels. Integrating online reservation engine, channel management, Google, and virtual POS integration into the front desk, Elektraweb enables hotels to receive commission-free and intermediary-free reservations directly from their own websites. Thanks to the online reservation page integrated with the front desk, hotels can sell rooms based on contract prices or daily pricing without needing any intermediary firms. The system also allows hotels to build their own CRM data and easily plan all kinds of marketing strategies related to their brand. Elektraweb users can also publish their prices on Google for free and receive reservations through the platform.
